The Associate Family Program provides nurturing homes, within a family environment, for people who have a developmental disability. This program supports people of all ages, taking referrals from families and agencies within York  Region.

Close matching of interests and cultures between the people we support and potential Associate Families and, when  possible, finding a suitable  location, are important components of the matching   process.  Communication and interaction between the Biological and Associate Families is encouraged and expected.

The guiding principle is that all people, with appropriate support, can have valued roles, participate in, and contribute to the life of the community.
