The Community Tribute Dinner will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at The Manor, Carrying Place Golf and Country Club, Weston Road, Kettleby.  The reception will start at 6:00 p.m. with dinner at 7:00 p.m.

Over the years, Barb  Bartlett has given many volunteer hours to non-profit organizations including the Make a Child Smile Toy Drive, Girl Guides of Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society, and Palliative Care Newmarket.

Barb served as a Board Member of Community Living Newmarket/Aurora District from 1990 to 2007 for many of those years as President. She has also served as Treasurer and Vice-President of Community Living Ontario and Secretary of United Way of York Region. Her interest in regional affairs led her to Chair the York Region Tourism committee, participate in the Town of Newmarket Community Standards Taskforce and most recently she has served two terms as the President of the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce. Barbara was the recipient of United Way of York Region’s Volunteer of the Year Award in 2004.
