A COMMUNITY WHERE EVERYONE BELONGS! Communication Protocol... PreambleCLNAD endeavors to maintain an open and transparent environment throughout all supports. To that end the following protocol is aimed at ensuring timely and effective access to information, actions and or decisions that affect the quality of life for all persons. ProtocolWhen seeking any means of clarification communication is best addressed at the most immediate and direct level, as follows ;The Supervisor is contacted. Supervisor will provide an answer within 24 hours; documenting contact and advising their Manager of the nature of the contact. In the event the answer or timeliness of response is considered to be unsatisfactory the Manager is contacted. The Manager will provide an answer within 24 hours; documenting contact and advising the Deputy Executive Director of the contact. In the event the answer or timeliness of the response is considered to be unsatisfactory the Deputy Executive Director is contacted. The Deputy Executive Director will provide an answer within 24 hours; documenting contact and advising the Executive Directorof the contact. In the event the answer or timeliness of the response is considered to be unsatisfactory the Executive Director is to be contacted. The Executive Director will provide an answer within 24 hours; documenting contact and advising the Board President of the contact. In the event the answer for timeliness of the response is considered to be unsatisfactory the Board President is to be contacted. The Board President will provide an acknowledgment within 24 hours. In the event that the answer or timeliness of the President’s response is considered to be unsatisfactory, the avenue of last resort would be to bring the concern to the full Board at the next Board Meeting. The decision of Board would be final. In extraordinary circumstances, such as a question of urgent safety or welfare, concerns of that nature may be taken directly to the highest levels. In circumstances of that nature an immediate response would be expected.
